My mind tends to wander. Sometimes, my conversations with others wander into strange ideas or interesting proposals.
Most of these ideas are too vague or too far-fetched for me to pursue in any meaningful way, but maybe someone else can.
So here are some ideas to mull over. Feel free to steal them, or point me to examples that already exist.
Not merely a yard,

of unbounded dreams.
The house I grew up in, where my pup Teddy loved to run around in the backyard, has been sold. I took him there on Friday to have one final romp through his favorite squirrel-hunting grounds.

So I’m pretty sure I mentioned last week that I’m working on a short story to submit to an online litmag contest this month. Right? Yes, here!
Five on the Fifth‘s submission deadline for their short fiction contest is looming rather large on August 31. I currently have about 1,500 words of a first draft, with a pretty clear idea of how I will set up the final act and conclude the story.
