It appears simple
to navigate winding alleys
from a bell tower.

We fill in dirt, stones,
trying to alter your course.
Your waters persist.

Sweet plumes pour upwards,
a pungent aroma to
go with this bourbon.

Starshine glittering,
dancing in midnight blue void–
chandelier cosmos.

Feel the air tremble
the rhythm of your goosebumps
emotive soundwaves

Suppressing critics,
those unwilling to bow to
your oppression – free.

A map reminds us
not where we have been, but where
we have yet to go.

The desktop freezes,
and yet the mouse moves freely,
alive but trapped.

Quite remarkable
that another thought my work
worthy of sharing.
