Cool breeze brushes exposed hair,
absorbing the rain.

enough to turn away crowds,
for our own park day.

shower to drench.

gives way to pattering rain
and quiet respite.

a place I once knew.

A refreshing breeze
tumbles down the street, bringing
spots of spraying rain.

Pouring from the sky,
rain bubbles on the ground, a
tub with a clogged drain.

Moisture weighs over,
sqeezing the air like a sponge,
and the showers come.
