December’s Theme – I’m Late, I’m Late, For A Very Important Date….

...No time to say hello. Goodbye! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!
…No time to say hello. Goodbye! I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!

Aren’t these theme posts supposed to be published on the first of the month? Yes, yes they are.
Are they always? Almost never. Whoops.

Well my excuse this time around is that I just straight up did not notice a new month had arrived. Between NaNoWriMo ending in a blaze of ‘dear powers that be, how did I fall so far behind’ and ‘Oh nooooooo’ I have 8 more books to read to hit my goodreads annual goal, I realize now that the end of the year is way ahead of schedule and I am not ready.

Thus I am combining goals in the hopes of accomplishing all I set out to:

Theme: Literary Inspiration – pick a book, any book ,and write a little something something in its honor!

Structure: Free Verse (because it is the fastest and all I really wanna do is read right now, and yet, here I am typing.)

Besides, last month was all moody and dark, at least this way if December is the same, I am not to blame.

“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”
