Don’t wait

Some loves dissolve
One continues to fall –
From in to out of

Does the pain of today
Negate the joys
Of the journey?

Can enough time ever separate
Then and now to allow
For grateful reflection?

Is there ever enough introspection
And emotional distance
To behold the beauty
Of something so currently
Overwhelmingly corrosive?

It’s about timing
