Misplaced Missive #86 – Moon

The shining moon I howl to.
Doesn’t matter where I run,
There’s no escape,
High above,
No judgment,
But no love.

Beyond me
Out of range
But I can only see
By your light.
Sight becomes pain
Something must change
Before I howl life away.

Trying for love like that earned by dark things:
Between shadow and soul.
Nothing torn apart
But nothing belonging together.
Blindness is apathy, out of the spotlight.

Even when waning
I’m fading
Taken in by unnatural
Favorings.
It’s lunacy.
