So go on shout, loud and proud,
Spreading our message toward the clouds.
Let them rise like smoke signals,
Strong and uplifting like hymnals,
Onward and upward – Don’t stay stuck on the ground. Continue reading “Galumphing – Fire Wood, Mascot, Stonehenge – Limericks (x5)”
SKYLIGHTS: A Fun and Exciting Sci-Fi Romp
I finished reading Skylights by Luther M. Siler a week or two ago. Siler was the first indie author I followed when I joined WordPress three years ago. I’ve been intending to read this book for forever, and boy am I glad I got around to it. Continue reading “SKYLIGHTS: A Fun and Exciting Sci-Fi Romp”
Misplaced Missive #98 – Flip
He’ll only open his eyes to see the sun,
Visions of white and The Holy One.
His voice always commanding and sure,
Hides his weakness and won’t waver,
When he says nothing I want to hear,
When he reveals nothing, but his own fear. Continue reading “Misplaced Missive #98 – Flip”

Luckily, some of my favorites are due to release albums in the near future. Here’s what my upcoming music listening slate will look like. Continue reading “Upcoming Albums to Look Out For”
Misplaced Missive #99 – Farewell
Overwhelming expectations,
Always lead to poor relations,
Degradation, false hopes,
And lost patience.
Sad salutations,
To mark the start,
Of Farewell. Continue reading “Misplaced Missive #99 – Farewell”
Haiku Sunday – Bat
“Bat”
Darting and zipping
