June 10 Theme: Thinking about Thinking

I hope everyone enjoyed our collective trip down memory lane yesterday. Nostalgia is, after all, delicate.

For next week’s theme, we’re dropping the sentimental reflections for existential pondering. Continue reading “June 10 Theme: Thinking about Thinking”

Spenserian Sonnet – Nostalgia – JG

Way Back When

Simplicity and bliss, ease and peace
Way back when, when there wasn’t much before,
Before I knew I was a pawn, a piece
Of a puzzle, broken and forlorn. Continue reading “Spenserian Sonnet – Nostalgia – JG”

Spenserian Sonnet – Nostalgia – SD

“Fun in the Sun”

Dawn’s yellow light floods into the room.

Misplaced Missive #160 – Written In The Sand

Can’t see the eyes amongst the underbrush,
Can’t see what lies before us,
Can’t see what lies have been told for us,
Too focused on the whole;
I neglected the parts.
This is where I fall apart.
It’s all ending, but there was never a start…
