This morning I finally gave my presentation to a class of high school creative writing students. Honestly, I think I was as engaged with the discussion as they were, which was an amazing feeling.

Friday Write-Day: Pre-Holiday Stress Time!
The holidays are usually somewhat stressful for me. Just making sure I’ve find appropriate gifts for people and can get to all of the family events is more than enough to think about.
Work has been stressful this week, largely because I was trying to wrap up a lot of things before being off for a few days.
But, I am off today, and thankfully, have some time to get shit done.

Úr’Dan: Exploring the Alternate Universe
I have talked about my upcoming novel, The Warden of Everfeld: Memento, in mostly vague terms to this point. That is largely by design.
I tend to hold my own dreams and aspirations near and dear to my heart until I feel like I’m ready to express them to people beyond my most inner circle. Friday Write-Day: I’m Being Published!
Yes! At long last my first work is being officially published somewhere other than my own website!
And no, it’s not my book… That would be insane if that was being published all of a sudden. Are you insane? I might be. Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: I’m Being Published!”
Friday Write-Day: The Revision Plan
My short story has been submitted to Five on the Fifth’s contest! I read through Wolf’s Moon Night on Sunday night, making a few small changes, then again on Monday night. I finally worked up the courage to submit it on Tuesday, one day before the deadline. Submitting to a litmag — and particularly a contest — is daunting.
