I learned two things today!
One – There is a petition now in existence that strives, among other things, to establish populations of super rare red wolves in both Kentucky and Alabama. As a wolfy fanatic, I find this to be great celebration-worthy news. Huzzah to the NY Times for teaching me things.
Two – Thrice, Lacuna Coil, and Saosin all recently put out new albums. I loved these bands in high school and honestly had assumed at least two of the three would never put forth new material again; after all it had been 7 years since Saosin’s last contribution and a good 5 years for Thrice.
Thus since this month is going to be spent indulging at every spare opportunity in both their newest and oldest music, as well as my newest and oldest obsession, I thought our theme should be reflective…
Theme: Saving Ze World (Wolves, Whales, Trees, The Environment, Cork, People, Clean Water, Whatever your worthy cause)
Structure: Rock Song
Woot Woot! I’m excited for this month!!
