I found a cover designer! After sifting through over 50 applications via Upwork, I’ve hired a cover designer I’m really excited about.
I don’t want to give away too much until the cover is complete, but this artist has done some gorgeous cover work in the past, so I’m really looking forward to getting into the details of the concept with him.
I’ve already sent him a (poorly drawn) sketch concept for the cover, as well as some details on Aston and Jaed’s physical traits and dress.
Check out my beautiful sketch!
Hopefully the artist can work with this… and it doesn’t burn his eyes out.
Beta revisions and read-throughs proceed. I should be ale to get through my read-through more quickly now that I’m not vetting applications.
It’s still difficult to nail down a timeline for when the beta draft will be revised, but i think I’m okay with that for now. If I am to truly focus on WoEL for NaNo 2017, then having another deadlin looming in the back of my mind would likely just distract me.
At this point, I don’t know when to project publication of WoEM, but with everything keeping me busy lately, that’s somewhat of a relief.
For tonight: Queens of the Stone Age in DC!

Congratulations and good luck!
Thank you!
