In case you haven’t caught on yet, I am definitely not publishing The Warden of Everfeld: Memento this year. Now it’s time to officially own it and look forward to next year. Continue reading “On Not Publishing in 2017”
Misplaced Missive #16 – Abyss
You craft these warped mind games
When you know it’s those games I mind:
I’m not equipped to skip to the right squares
And hop to the beat
That only you can hear.
Every day with you near?
It’s poisonous snakes and
Ladders with rusting rungs.
I can’t keep up with your concept of ‘fun’. Continue reading “Misplaced Missive #16 – Abyss”

Saturday Of Book Reviewing – BJ Novak’s One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories
Now, while this book was super entertaining, I don’t really have much to add to that. It was fun. Light. But it wasn’t really a piece that I would revisit; it didn’t offer any intense moral lessons or revealing new facts about life or the world or thought. Exploring Úr’Dan: Naebvael
Many of the smaller regions or groups in Úr’Dan wield inordinate power over the subcontinent. We’ve already seen this with Driftport, the city out of which all Úr’Daní trade flows, and the Arrowhead, which serves as a necessary stopping point for trade flowing up and down Everwash.
Well, as promised, we’re going to look at yet another region that, while geographically and demographically small, holds enormous sway in Úr’Dan. Continue reading “Exploring Úr’Dan: Naebvael”
Misplaced Missive #9 – Corporate Games
Just ignore it, it’ll fade.
Condescending disinterest in communication.
Sunrise, fresh start, new day –
“It won’t matter” you say. Continue reading “Misplaced Missive #9 – Corporate Games”

Friday Write-Day: Writing Rhythm Attained
Greetings from New Jersey! We drove up this morning to visit with family this weekend. This has always been my excuse to not go shopping on Black Friday — not that I need an excuse. Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: Writing Rhythm Attained”
