Now that I’m gearing up to publish the first chapter of The Grand Mythos of Úr’Dan come January, I need to make sure my gearing-up playlist is ready.

Welp, November is over. National Novel Writing Month sped by me, but that’s been true of every month since my son was born.
I had a lofty goal of writing 20,000 words on Dad-Life Time, but NaNoWriMo goals are always lofty, right?

I’ve mentioned a few times that I joined Wattpad to see what stories I could dig up there. I just finished my first full book there:
The Juggernaut, by Peter A. Dixon. Overall, I enjoyed the story, but it left me wanting in some areas.
Fledgling trees sprouted,
different root systems, nearby,
branches intertwined.

Having a son has taught me a lot. I’ve learned how to put a diaper on a baby tight enough that they don’t pee around it. I’ve learned the various phases of infant defecation. And I’ve learned that making my son smile for the first time—and I mean really smile, not a muscle reflex—is one of the most fulfilling moments of my life.
