Welp, November is over. National Novel Writing Month sped by me, but that’s been true of every month since my son was born.
I had a lofty goal of writing 20,000 words on Dad-Life Time, but NaNoWriMo goals are always lofty, right?
Anyway, it’s time I rethink how I approach my writing schedule and goals. Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: NaNo Came and Went”

I’ve been doing a lot of pondering, and also getting my revised KDP manuscript for WoEM in order, so that’s kept me pre-occupied. But, I still feel like some cool things are coming.
Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: The Week of No Writing”This week has not been as much of a sleep-deprived blur as last week. It’s still flown by surprisingly fast. My writing time was slim, but I managed to make some headway in a couple of other areas.
Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: Switching Gears”I left work at 4:30 yesterday because I was just too tired to deal with anything. I almost couldn’t deal with the awful commute home, but I made it.
And I promptly took a two-hour nap. Dad Life is tiring.

This week has been… tiring / refreshing / fun / kind of a blur.
Between caring for a newborn, having a lot of visitors nearly every day, and just trying to adjust to our new home life, it’s been good.
