I’m very satisfied with my progress on Manuscript: Charlie this week. One of PW’s cousins made a surprise trip into town, so we spent two evenings catching up with him, which was great.
Even with that little bit of time spent away from WoEM, I revised 34,500 words this week, shy of my goal of 40,000, but still nothing to be ashamed of.
Welp, I forgot to upload my title card. I blame my goofy counterpart, Jessie, with whom I video chatted last night for 5 and a half hours…
Clearly we had a lot to talk about after a busy month+ for both of us.
Curse our intriguing and impassioned conversations/arguments!
This week’s ‘tween-holiday lull has been a welcome break for me. It’s allowed me to really focus on preparing for the next steps — in writing, at work, and in life.

Writing has been slow again for me this week. I’ve written a total of 4,400 words for NaNo — a rather pitiful showing considering my initial goal was 30,000. Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: Recalibrating NaNo Goals”
Well, well, well, nine days through NaNo and look where we are!
Can you guess? Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: Family Writing Night!”
And aside from writing, that is what has taken up my week… and the last several weeks. Continue reading “We Bought a F*ckin’ House”
I had a revelation this week. Rather, a revelation was given to me by someone else. I have devised a plan to both motivate myself towards the end of Manuscript: Beta and get a headstart on the review process with my beta readers and editor — all in one fell swoop! Continue reading “Forward with the Second Draft!”
Welp, I’m dumb. I spent the time creating a photo for this post and didn’t bother to upload before publication time yyyeeeeeeeeaaaaah!
Anyway. I like my new update-every-two-weeks so far. It feels fresh now. Continue reading “Friday Write-Day: The End is… Outlined”
